Octant Ponta Delgada är ett livligt och kosmopolitiskt hotell som erbjuder 123 rum med fantastisk utsikt över havet. My room was facing the harbour and my timing was perfect as aI saw the cruise ship come and go. The hotel is very close to the town central so a very convenient location. Breakfast foods was freshly prepared. Throughout the hotel the staff were friendly and eager to please the guest. I particularly liked the extra touch of hats for the guest, the delivery of a fruit basket upon arrival and the hand deliver of an afternoon "cookie pack". I am a very satisfied customer!

The breakfast is excellent and varied. In the evening you can sit in the lobby and listen to a different player play the piano, saxophone or guitar every day. For a hotel parking that costs 12 euros per day, they will let you park on a nearby street at a cost of half a euro per hour, this is better because most of the day you travel the island by car.

The property was lovely and the Prime Villa is the way to go. The apartment is on top of the main building with a spectacular, unobstructed view. We enjoyed the hot tub and resting on the lounge chairs. The unit was extremely clean and housekeeping came daily. The breakfast was wonderful - yes, it's the same menu every day but there are so many choices that you don't get bored. Plus, they serve fresh muffins every morning that are varied each day. The smoothies also change each day. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. A wonderful stay.
