It is like going back in time when you stay here with all of the traditional qualities lost over years of chain hotels. You are greeted by the manager who knows your name and understands old fashioned hospitality.

No. 10 Preston was a wonderful stay. The welcome and check-in was seamless. The flat was comfortable, cozy, elegant and beautifully decorated. The location is perfectly close to everything, and with new restaurants and shops opening up along Fishergate, there are so many options if you want to try out a new restaurant, club or simply chill out in a cafe. The staff are incredibly kind and are available if you need anything. We loved our stay.

I was born in Preston and am disgusted with it now, lots of loutish behaviour by both young and old , buildings that were once beautiful are now derelict, many drug affected and homeless people in the town centre, I felt unsafe even in populated areas.

I was visiting family so that was good, It has tried to be a cafe society and there are some nice small cafe's and artisan bars but the people are depressing, seem happy to walk round eating burgers and drinking cans of beer. like all towns lots of empty properties, charity shops etc.
Will be good when the Harris museum opens again next year.

I only visit when I have to, visiting family.
I only visit when I have to, visiting family. I have made several trips over four years. First impression was of a grubby town, streets and public spaces covered in litter. Sprawling industrial parks on the outskirts. Ubiquitous pavement parking makes it dangerous pulling out of residential side streets. I have found little of cultural interest to do in the city, apart from the museum, which has been closed for refurbishment. No decent venues for live music or theatre that I am aware of. Easy enough to get a basic and pleasant meal from the usual restaurant chains. I haven't made much attempt to research into more interesting venues for eating out, apart from RK dining which is great for vegetarian/Asian takeaways. I think there is a good range of different cuisines if you look for it. I guess the University is Preston's saving grace from being a purely industrial town. It is reasonably easy to navigate the city centre on foot or by car, and regular buses. It does have a good number of well maintained and accessible public parks, and a good walking route via the Guild wheel. Brockholes is a good place for nature, although close to a motorway. A range of pleasant areas of Lancashire countryside are a short drive outside city.

Preston is a lovely town.
Preston is a lovely town. I visit because I have close family there, but I wouldn't say it is a hub for tourists. There are fantastic attractions, like Hoghton Tower, and the downtown area is very quaint. When with family, we usually go to a great fairly local pub or other restaurant for lunch/dinner, and there are plenty of those with great food and ambiance. I love going for walks in the local area.
The room was amazing , very modern and clean .We stayed in the " reflection suite " which was so comfy and the bathroom just brilliant . The staff were very friendly and nothing was a problem . They made a fuss over our baby girl which was nice . Even put a birthday balloon in our room for my wife . Location amazing , 2 mins from the train station and in Preston city center . We cant wait to go again .
What gorgeous accomodation. Everything one needs for a stay. Tea, Coffee, sugar, milk, cereal. There were even a couple of packets of crisps. Our room looked over the park, which was lovely. I was feeling poorly on the morning of checkout and they kindly allowed us a 12 o’clock checkout and knocked to see if we needed anything. Much appreciated! We will return if we are back in Preston
From the second I arrived, I was greated by a super friendly owner. My room was a single room and was absolutely perfect for me. Tea and coffee facilities, and the bathroom were lovely. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choices, and very fast service. As a lone person needing an overnight stay, this hotel was spot on. Would definitely recommend and use again. Thank you :-)
it was clean and everything was neat in the rooms and the bed was comfortable along with the pillows.
i picked here as it was close to the uni and a perfect place for me to stay while visiting my friend at uclan. i was able to get to and from all the places i wanted to go to in preston easily from the hotel aswell.
would definitely stay again
The host was the most lovely and kind person. Left our little boy a doggie dental treat when we arrived into the apartment. 🥺 The bedroom was so lovely - actually the whole place was minimalist and beautiful. Clean with almost everything we could ask for. We went to Preston for a very special reason and I'm so glad that I chose here.
Room was nice, very clean and comfy bed & pillows. All the staff were excellent. We didnt book breakfast as had it in the adjoining hungry horse pub ( worked out cheaper and serves from 8am) Breakfast was also tasty. I found the hotel excellent value for money for £60 on a Saturday night. Parking was plentiful and free.
The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, but sufficiently far away from main roads to afford a quiet atmosphere. I enjoyed a peaceful and relaxed weekend stay.
My bedroom was extremely clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
Parking convenient. room overlooking lots of greenery around the car park. nice secluded gardens, easy access on ground floor for me to take my dogs in and out. Very convenient for visiting my family and friends in West of Preston. Plenty of space to walk the dogs in the hotel grounds / car park.
We travelled down to Preston from Glasgow for a family wedding. Hotel was only 20 minutes away from the wedding venue so for us location was perfect.
The hotel was beautiful, rooms were lovely, spacious and clean.
Staff extremely helpful.
Would definitely stay here again.
The room was excellent and very comfortable. The kitchen facilities were fantastic. And it was only a short walk in to Preston City Centre. I would recommend the property as an excellent alternative to the local big hotels.
I liked the hotel overall, it was very clean and the staff were all very friendly. The bed was super comfortable I didn't want to get out of it. The bathroom was also very clean and the shower was awesome.
Staff on reception are really friendly , me and my partner always choose to stay here when visiting Preston city centre. Really clean, rooms are very nice and we had a great view too.
Great location in town and Preston is great central location for all things Manchester to Blackpool. Living space was large and roomy - perfect for a family of five on holiday.
